8th grade tryouts will be held at Blaine High School for players who will be attending Blaine High School (see the below schedule).    Tryouts happen to be at the same time/location as Blaine's youth football camp but 8th graders do not need to register for the camp in order to try out for 8th grade football.  Those who make the 8th grade teams will start practice immediately on August 9th via a two-day mini-camp with pads.  The mini-camp is not required but as with any practice, the 8th grade coaches will expect that the kids try and attend.
